Reshaping/Compression Garments
In October 1993, Dr. Leonel Kelly, MD left the faculty of Medicine at UNAM (National University of Mexico) and joined Ardyss International as their Chief of Research and Medical Support. Ardyss and Dr. Kelly had a common principle - that "Health is Beauty." In 1994, Dr. Kelly and the Ardyss Family formed a team of Textile Engineers, Corsetry Specialists, Design Experts, and Quality Control Experts to invent the first sets of garments. Garments are therapeutic in nature and are designed for both women and men and are customized for a correct and proper fit.
Chiropractors:
 The Body Magic, first and foremost is designed to help patients by correcting the posture and eliminating back pain. The Body Magic pulls the shoulders back, straightens the back and gives upper and lower back support. The Body Magic is used by chiropractors and physical therapists for patients with lumbar pain, scoliosis and sciatica and other back issues to relieve pain while patients undergo treatment. Medical Codes (L0627 and L0625) are available for Insurance Reimbursement for a number of our Reshaping garments, including the Body Magic for women, Abdomen Shirt for Men and our Lumbar products for both men and women.
Plastic Surgeons:
Additionally, the Body Magic can also be used after plastic surgery to help eliminate flaccity and keep the muscles and tissue in place after most cosmetic surgeries, in particular Tumescent Liposuction. The Body Magic is a compression garment that holds internal organs into proper position.
Obstetricians:
 The Maternity Girdle provides comfort and support for the body from the third month to delivery by providing needed support. The garment initiates a more balanced center of gravity and reduces strain on the spine, also provides support for the pelvis during the period of pelvic softening.
